Children

“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

Our children are precious gifts, and we take to heart the wisdom in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
We seek to teach our children what Scripture says — and also how to live it out in their lives.
That’s why we have classes tailored to each age group, from six months old up to fifth grade, because we believe in Bible education that is meant just for them.
During Sunday morning worship, just after the body participates in the Lord’s Supper, the children are invited to their classrooms for their lessons in the children’s hallway on the west side of the auditorium.
On Wednesday evenings, our children gather in our hospitality room for dinner, a lesson in the Scriptures and activities.
We know that studying the Bible isn’t just meant for Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, so we offer resources to our parents and young families to encourage study and devotion at home.

Our affiliate program, East Grand Community Services, also runs an after-school program, serving Bingham and Alice Pittman Elementary schools. Learn more at www.eastgrandcommunityservices.com.
